The Association for the Provision of Therapies for AIDS in Africa (APTAA) was created on June 11, 2001 at the initiative of Bruno Hoen, Professor of Infectious and Tropical Diseases at Besançon University Hospital (France). Its projects have steadily developed thanks to the motivation of a dedicated group of people.
